Overview:
Participants with shoulder pathology, treated with a standardized rehabilitation program, were monitored to determine how many and which patients were successfully managed with rehabilitation vs. requiring surgical consult.
Results indicated that the majority of participants (78%) were successful with rehabilitation, and characteristics associated with failed rehabilitation included a degree of rotator cuff tear (p<0.05) and decreased external rotation strength.
This online course is brought to you by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and is designed for physiotherapists, but other healthcare professionals are invited to take this course as well.
